Principal and founder of Gold Grenade, Jacek Ostoya is a licensed architect and designer with 30 years of professional experience working in architecture, interiors, construction, and graphics & branding. Prior to opening his own studio he worked at large international firms HO+K, STUDIOS, and as an associate at Gensler. Most recently he has designed hospitality bar and restaurant projects, creating popular and successful destinations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Over the years, he has worked on complex large-scale airport projects, high-tech corporate HQs, entertainment projects, corporate interiors, retail and mixed-use projects, residences, as well as technically challenging R&D/manufacturing, museum, and healthcare facilities.

As an entrepreneur Jacek has owned and operated Harlot nightclub in San
Francisco and Resident beer garden and live music venue in the Arts District of
Los Angeles. He also founded Mebel, a modern furniture company.

Jacek received a B.A. in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley where he also
studied music.
